Shoutout to Alix Earle’s friends, who saw Alex Cooper’s TikTok calling her out, immediately started recording on their phones, and woke her up. The result? A video of Alix—who’d literally just been sleeping post-Coachella—watching Alex’s video in real time. For the most part, she seemed surprised and vaguely amused, but did say “okay!” in response to Alex saying “just say it, yourself, what’s the beef?” and then added “that just literally made my whole day.”

She captioned the footage, “Shoutout to my friends for knowing I would want this moment captured 😭.”

Alix has yet to issue a formal response explaining “the beef,” but drama between her and Alex goes back to when Alix’s podcast Hot Mess was dropped by the Unwell Network. She’s been hinting at drama ever since, and Alex called her out for being “passive aggressive” on Monday.

“Hey girl, the passive aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things—I’ve got to call you out here,” she said. “You’re going to need to get specific and just say what you’ve got to say about me. There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself.”

She added, “What’s the beef? ‘Cause I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from other shit going online from you. Not interested. I know what happened, and so do you. So talk. Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me. So unless you actually have something to say, I’m out, this is over, have a good Monday everyone.”
